# Type Alias: WebGpuRenderPassDescriptorExtras

> **WebGpuRenderPassDescriptorExtras** = `Readonly`\<`Omit`\<`GPURenderPassDescriptor`, `"label"` \| `"colorAttachments"` \| `"depthStencilAttachment"` \| `"timestampWrites"`\>\> & `Readonly`\<`Record`\<`string`, `unknown`\>\> & `object`

Defined in: [packages/webgpu/src/types.ts:683](https://github.com/uinosoft/zenfg/blob/c5a119d39ba4c149dc90ed5711c4e76759080b41/packages/webgpu/src/types.ts#L683)

**`Beta`**

Caller-owned WebGPU render-pass descriptor fields, including experimental
browser extensions. Known native fields retain their WebGPU types; additional
fields should be typed by the application against its browser API.

ZenFG owns the label, attachments, and timestamp writes. Supplying these fields
is rejected at recording time, including from JavaScript or through a cast.
Only own enumerable string data properties are supported. Fields are captured
shallowly by `render()`; referenced GPU objects remain caller-owned and must
stay valid for every execution of the compiled frame. Native feature, limit,
and pipeline compatibility validation remains the application's responsibility.
These execution-only fields are omitted from compilation reports and Snapshot.
